We hired Lewis to carry out the plaster work (supply & fix), which involved boarding & skimming all the ceilings; board and skim to around the new supporting RSJ (to Building Reg Standards); Filling in all the new service chases; Making good to the gaps in the existing plaster left between the original rooms when the dividing walls had been removed.
The works were carried out in two visits to allow us to move furniture/cupboards from one works area to another to allow space for working, but also for our catering needs.
Lewis turned up on both occasions as agreed start dates and times, carrying the works out to a high standard from start to finish. Everywhere was kept clean and tidy during and at the end of each shift.
An alignment issue with the existing plaster on both sides of one of the gaps, left by the wall removal was picked up by Lewis. He solved the problem by removing part of the original plaster and adding plaster board; skim and trim to form a perfect transition. Also the New RSJ was inspected by the Building Inspector before the Skim was installed, which passed for the completion cert.
We would highly recommend Lewis for his professional approach to his trade.
